Austin's Twin Turbo Pontiac G8 GT
Austin sent in this build put together on his Pontiac G8 GT. And this build is kitted out. The power plant is a Borowski 427 SHO block with forged Callies Crank & Rods. The Frankenstein M311 heads & valve train are operated by a nasty little Cam Motion camshaft and 0.700"lift dual titanium springs, and are topped off with a color-matched BTR trinity intake & valve covers.
The turbo headers on this build are a custom design modified to work with the G8 engine bay, pulling out 2" primary tubes into the 2 1/2" log, and ending in our billet stainless steel v-band assemblies. The headers push out into a pair of VS Racing 78/75 turbos and dual 50mm wastegates. The whole turbo kit was built & assembled by Austin on this run.
And the fun part! At only 10psi of boost, he made 1034 hp before running out of fuel, the engine has more to give and Austin plans on turning it up for next season.
