Check out this piece of stainless symmetry from Ryan out of North Carolina. Running a Big Block Ford 460-based engine in his jet boat, complete with Kaase cylinder heads, this is an engine ready to breathe. We sized him up with 2 1/4" primaries, and an exotic 8 into 1 merge collector, with a 4 1/2" throat and 5" transitional exit. A bit more backstory from Ryan on the build as well: ". I have a 1975 18’ Sanger Super Jet with a 557 stroker. I bought the boat with a 429 that was supposedly freshly rebuilt but it only lasted about 20 hours before it self destructed. Anyway I decided to go all out and bore and stroke it. Scat forged rotating assembly with custom Mahle pistons with valve reliefs for the Kaase SR-71 heads. Custom .781 lift roller Comp Cam and lifters. Super cobra jet high rise intake and Holley Super Sniper 4500 EFI. Probably around 950 hp. Berkeley jet pump with stainless steel impeller" Thats a lot of muscle for an 18' boat, should be one helluva ride!
